[Plugin: Contextual Related Posts] Can I exclude certain pages?

There isn’t an option currently.
A good option is to create the category you wish to exclude and add all the pages into this category.

Thank you for your reply… Not sure how I can do what you said, as far as I am aware only posts can be allocated to a category, pages can’t…

Unless there is a way to do it that I am not aware of.

I’ve released v1.8.2 which gives you a field to enter a comma separated list of pages (or posts) you wish to exclude

Hi Ajay,

I just started using your plugin yesterday and I noticed the exclude pages feature. This feature does not work on pages. I haven’t tested it on posts. I have 3 pages listed like so: 113,19,109, however it still shows the Related Posts on those pages. I even tried it with just one page but that doesn’t work either.

Keithsi, the feature is to exclude the pages from the results list, not exclude the results from the pages.

The plugin doesn’t have the latter feature incorporated yet. However, considering that several users have requested this feature, I will include this in a future version.

Hi, what is the status on this feature? I very much need it for a website we are launching. Or can you provide code that I can use in the page template which will filter out page options?
