Good freemium solution

  • Overall, this is a pretty good plugin and no one can complain about the business model, free plugin and some paid templates.

    I would have liked to see more sample templates included with different layouts, and I think the documentation & videos for developing your own templates could be a little more thorough.

    A word of warning for those of you developing your own templates – DO NOT put periods (.) in the name of your template directory on the file system. For example, do not name your template dir 2014.04.26-squeeze-1. The dashes (-) are fine, but the periods will cause your template and resulting landing page to have so many issues, you’ll tear your hair out!

    The file name is used in the code, and the periods are not escaped or stripped out. At least, this was the case for me on a Linux system, but I’m betting Windows systems will have the same issue, as I’m pretty sure this was at a PHP level.
