Good free forum

  • We‘ve been using wpforo for a while now. Works great and users are happy. We love the way to set colors according to our theme, so it blends in smoothly.
    Moderation is rather simple with approve/deny. Sending a private message to the user if a post can not be approved is the only thing we are missing.

    We added the commercial Multimedia Upload plugin too, which is kind of mandatory if you want users to add forum attachments without much hassle. Other than this the plugin is free and needs no commercial add ons.

    Overall: a clear recommendation.
