Good for simple tables, nothing complex.
-
Not the easiest interface, but this plugin is good for small simple tables. The default of a comma as a delimiter is a bit silly as commas are often used in the data, but the good thing is that the plugin allows you to change this.
On the downside, choosing a suitable delimiter is difficult. You want to choose something that is highly unlikely to be used in a table anywhere on the website, so (for example) ‘$’ is unsuitable. However, choosing a character such as ‘?’, ‘¥’ or even ‘€’ results in strange extraneous characters being displayed within the table.
You have to choose a “normal” character and hope that you never need it in a table. I’ve settled for the caret (‘^’).
This plugin would be hugely improved by a proper GUI to create and modify tables.
