Good but PRO version is better… but too expensive for me

  • Nice plugin and, as many other users, I wanted to switch to the pro version but I don’t want to 1) pay for a bundle of plugnins when I only need to use one 2) pay 50$/month. I don’t like much your business model (a bit scammy) and just want to let you know. And no, thanks, I don’t want a free 30 days trial ?? It’s a bit sad because the pro version seems to be very good. It’s the first time I give less than 5 stars to a free plugin.

  • Thank you for the feedback. We will definitely take your thoughts into consideration. It would be a massive shift for WPMU DEV but we are looking at options. If you already believe we are a bit of a scam trying to convince you we are not will feel even more scammy. ?? That said, I will try to my best to help. We’ve been part of WordPress for over ten years and currently are made up of around 60 WordPress professionals that work hard to provide free and professional tools that are being used across millions of sites. We are in it for the long haul and I hope you can grow to trust our resources and appreciate the amount of time and dedication it takes to provide a free service like Smush on our own dime for over 800,000 sites.
