The plugin is good, but has some drawbacks with it’s main feature (in my POV):
    – The countdown timer only has day, month and year, so, you can’t specify an hour (in our case, we wanted to put it to 5pm the next day, but we couldn’t set the hour)
    – The countdown timer is always based on UTC time, not the server time…

So, in our case, I wanted to set it in the the middle of the afternoon for 5pm the next day. So, the timer would need to say 1 day and around 2 hours… but instead it was almost 4h…! Big difference! So, I had to deactivate the timer and maybe I’ll look for another one for the next time…

    Hello Nelmedia,

Thank you for your comments. May I ask which timer you were using? Was it the Text based timer or the FlipClock.

You make a very good point about Hours/Minutes. I’ll look into adding those into the next update.

Thank you for trying out my plugin and I’m sorry it didn’t fulfil all of your needs.

    Thanks,
    Mike

Great! I like it when the creator wants to improve and takes critics the right way! Always a good sign!

Yes, it was with the FlipClock, but I think I tried it with the text as well.

Also, if not too hard, base the timer on the time zone specified in WP instead of the UTC time (which seems to be the case right now).

    Thank you!

There is only one way to improve and that is to take comments and criticism the right way.

I have a little list of new features/tweaks for the next big update, I’ll add the time zone onto that list now. It shouldn’t be too hard to pull the WP time zone and base the countdown on that.

Best of luck with your new site!

    Thanks,
    Mike
