Good But Be Careful

  • This is a good plugin but be careful. Even if you delete the catgories and deactivate the plugin gthe effect of catogorizing a page will not go away. This is not the default behavior of how categories work with core WP.

    For me, that wa a real negative.

    If someone has a different take on this I’d like to know.

    Totally correct, you would have to ‘remove’ the pages from the categories first and then remove the plugin or any query that gets post/pages based on category will also return the pages.

    Once the plugin is deactivated no pages should show up in the archives for categories anymore unless something else ‘odd’ is going on with your site.
