Good but annoying
-
In general, WP Scheduled Posts does what it is supposed to do. It is also easy to use and works reliably. A big relief for all who want to publish scheduled posts.
However, two points disturb enormously:
1. the updates do not work with the WordPress Plugin Update function. The support has seen the problem, but does not react to it. Therefore you have to download the ZIP file every time and install it manually.
2. with almost every update there is a message in full width: “We hope you’re enjoying WP Scheduled Posts! Could you please do us a BIG favor and give it a 5-star rating on WordPress to help us spread the word and boost our motivation? The choices are: “Okay, you deserve it! / I already did / Maybe Later / I need help / Never show again”. No matter what you choose (even with “Never show again”), you will never get rid of this advertisement. The support also knows this problem, but does nothing about it. This is not only annoying and bad service, but also violates applicable law (GDPR, privacy shield). All in all, good, but annoying and not sufficiently customer-oriented.
