Good Basic Theme

This is a nice, clean uncomplicated blog, a good theme for a first blog.

However, there are two notable omissions: it seems that you cannot have a “summary” view (despite a “summary” setting” in the controls) for your blog posts. This means that on your “Home” page, your blogs just continue to appear one after the other in full length.

This is then related to a second problem. Each post has its own individual page but you only know that ify you click on the blog. You then go to a separate page with just that blog post and a “Post Comments” section. However, since all the posts appear on the Home page, it is not apparent that you need to click on the post (why? it’s all there!) and so the “Post Comment/Reply” section is never seen by the reader. A solution is to have an actual “Summary” of 5-8 lines of the post, with “more… at the end. It is then very obvious that you have to click on the link to read the whole post, and that will then automatically bring up the “Reply/Post Comment” feature on the individual blog page.
