Good Bad and The Ugle, Tell Me… My 1st WP Site.

  • Hi just poped in to get some feed back on my first WP/Buddypress site. Here is the link https://vairville.com/vv Be kind.. Or Don’t LOL I can take it.

    My site is not finished yet. Still have a few things to configure in the back end and should e done with in about a week or when time permits.

    I used he Buddy press and a few other plugins.

    Looks really good overall, a couple of questions:

    1) Why is about and home the same page, also the H1 tag on your main page should say something more than just about “about”, to help both your visitors and google index you easily.

    2) What is the function of the login page?

    Quickly checked it out, looks good homepage is very nice, 5 out of 5

    Q) Why is about and home the same page
    A) Only because I have not set up the home page yet.
    Not sure how I want it to look so just linked to that page to have something show up.
    I still have a few days or when ever before I am done simply because I have to work on it in my spare time.

    But just ran into a slight problem with setting up the forums.
    I was trying to set up site wide forums and group forums and got lost in the set up process so it is not working.
    How can I uninstall the forums and start over…Any Body?
