  • I am using the free version.

    What I like:

    • configurable cloud storage (e.g. google drive)
    • configurable scope of backup (e.g. DB, files, all)
    • restore (at least theoretically…I have not yet done a restore) possible from the WP admin console without the necessity to run a script, i.e. good for beginners

    What I don’t like (and this is the reason for 1 star deduction):

    • even when I check everything to be included in the backup, the files from the WP root directory (e.g. wpconfig.php and the like) are NOT included in the backup! The backup only includes the files from the wp-content, wp-admin and wp-includes subdirectories. All other subfolders (if any) and WP root directory have to be backed up separately (e.g. via FileZilla)
