    Hi there, thank you for reaching out to Paid Memberships Pro.

    This message is intentional as you cannot purchase more than one level at a time (as members cannot hold more than one membership level at a time).

    You would need to add that line of code to your functions.php file in order for it to work as expected.

    Then what if default membership is FREE then they want to upgrade to premium. How to do this?
