Golden Game VS Joker

    Hi AntoineH,

    I did not understand the difference between GOLDEN GAME and JOKER.
    I currently use JOKER and its biggest limitation is that it can only play once for GROUP. But this probably depends on a different approach I have given to the competition.
    Instead, how does the GOLDEN GAME work? I can not implement it if I do not understand how it works before.

    Hi,

    The Joker functionality (which is default plugin functionality) is limited to 1 joker per player. The player decides on which match he wants to set his joker.

    The Golden Games functionality is an extension to the plugin. What this extension basically does, is that it disables the Joker functionality for the players and adds an extra page to the wp-admin where an admin can select one or more matches as a Golden Game. On these matches the players can earn double points (or whatever you set the joker multiplier setting to). The Golden Games get an extra CSS class so you can highlight them on the frontend via your stylesheet.

    Hope this helps.

    Please note: if you enable the Golden Games extension, then all jokers set by the players will be lost. Disabling the Golden Games will re-enable the Joker functionality, but will not restore the jokers set by players.

    thank you very much, sorry if I answer only now. I take it for another request ??

    you can somehow highlight the matches declared as golden match?
    both on the POOL page and on the USER page.
    It would be very useful, even with a simple symbol to the side, as it was for the joker.
