Going to sitename.com/wp-admin/install.php gives me error
-
Hi, I understand that this exact problem is quite unusual since i have looked all over google and not found anything on this problem exactly.
I have set up my FTP and used Filezilla to upload the files. All of that ran smoothly. However it seems to be the wp-config.php file which is the problem. I have tried re-downloading the whole thing but it still gives me the same error:Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘@’ in /homepages/38/d500122291/htdocs/wp-config.php on line 25
Here is the code (I have removed the important information for confidentiality)
<?php /** * The base configurations of the WordPress. * * This file has the following configurations: MySQL settings, Table Prefix, * Secret Keys, WordPress Language, and ABSPATH. You can get the MySQL settings from your web host. * * This file is used by the wp-config.php creation script during the * installation. Happy blogging. */ /** Absolute path to the WordPress directory. */ if ( !defined('ABSPATH') ) define('ABSPATH', dirname(__FILE__) . '/'); /** Sets up WordPress vars and included files. */ require_once(ABSPATH . 'wp-settings.php');
I’m sorry to give you the whole chunk of code, but I really have no idea what the problem is.
Hope you can help
