• Hi. Curious if there’s a way to integrate with GoFundMe to pull through fundraising campaign data; namely the dollar amount of money raised through donations for a particular campaign. We’re doing a holiday promotion cooking competition where each team is competing for a different charity. We’ve created separate GoFundMe pages for each team, and a web page where we’ll be posting progress and other campaign info. With your plugin, we can go in and manually update it periodically to show how much each team has raised, but if there could be a way to automate that process – to pull through the dollar amount of the donations made to each GFM campaign in real, or semi-real, time – that would save us a bunch of work.

    Hey!

Thanks for getting in touch – I just had a look at the competition on your site and it looks like great fun.

Unfortunately, GoFundMe don’t have a plugin for WordPress that can pull your progress from their servers. This would have been the easy method.

Even more unfortunately, GoFundMe don’t appear to have a publicly accessible API that we can use to create an integration directly in Ultimeter. To explain that a bit more, this is where we can create ‘developer’ accounts to integrate and test other tools with a company’s servers, which you as an end user can then use by copy and pasting an API key or token to link the two. You may have seen that before.

So right now, it doesn’t look as if GoFundMe are set up to allow this to happen, which is a real shame as it would be an awesome feature to have incorporated.

    Hope that answers the question,

    Ben Roberts
