Godaddy WordPress Hosting Too Slow

  • I have been managing 1 of my websites with godaddy Starter Managed WordPress Hosting and to be honest it looks like I would have switched to Blogger atleast they allow me to do something. It takes me more than 1 hr to upload a post with maximum time the page just loads. It just takes away the passion to write something.

    Can anyone with same hosting update me if its just with me or you also.

    Please godaddy if you can read this mail me I would like to get this sorted out asap.

    Or would like to part ways with you.

    Have you contacted GoDaddy’s support about this? I’m generally not a fan of GoDaddy, but their Managed WordPress Hosting isn’t that bad from the times I’ve run across it.

    Had a conversation with the support for more than half an hour. They said the website is opening fine. Yeah I know that, Its not like its completely not working its just that it does not responds many a times. I need to refresh the page or start again or wait for it. I was asked to shift to linux or take a complete backup and remove the themes and plugins and try again.

    Will try that and update!!

    Are you sure you’re on GoDaddy’s Managed WordPress hosting? I thought that was Linux-only.

    Its not a Linux one I am sure as I checked for my friend who uses linux hosting and both are different in the control panel of Godaddy.

    But to be honest After taking a backup, it feels like the wp-admin is working fine now.
    Not sure if they did something or not. Will clarify more in upcoming days
