I have several free workspace email addresses on GoDaddy and they all work fine – for about 15 years now. I created an address for Postie there but only got timed-out errors (as I recall). Then I found you wanted cPanel addresses so I set one up there then could not send an email to that address at all so called for Tech support. They wanted to move all my workspace email accounts to a paid plan. He said the gist of the problem was that workspace accounts and cPanel accounts are on different servers so the DNS MX record needs to be changed.
So – is it possible to make Postie work with a GoDaddy workspace email address?

Unlikely if what tech support is telling you is true. Postie can’t overcome server setup/hosting provider limitations.

Of course. So there is an unsurmountable problem between Postie and GoDaddy workspace email accounts?

I can’t answer that question. Other people have been able to to use Postie with GoDaddy hosting, so some configuration is possible.
