Godaddy SLOW hosting

  • I have one WordPress sites hosting on a GoDaddy linux web hosting plan. i have buy on 13 th july I had slow/performance issues from day one It worked well only 10 days …. Now, my site intermittently do not load or take minutes to load. Sometimes they pop right up. Sometimes it times out and I get an timeout 80 error or database mysql downtime. i contact godaddy support team, but it’s really the best worst experience and they are not be able to help me.

    i have open over of 10 ticket to email support and also open a ticket in the forum

    but my second answer was censured. because was not accepted i think.

    So my website have intermittenly down time.
    im really sad about this experience at godaddy i have buy hosting plan on 13 th july and now 8 august 2012 i have this stupid problem over 8 days. also i check my website there https://host-tracker.com/ and see how much lag to open, more then 20 seconds and in the so much case more then 45 seconds to open. with so many error ad so many different server. so im think im out of blooging. thank you godaddy, you can’t help me, or you dont have time to help our customer our u just joke with customer. they say, monitor your website with a program called Whireshark but i dont know how to use this. I hope for a resolution of the problem if it persists and there is no way to solve it as soon as possible I will be forced to unfortunatly change the hosting service. because this is unacceptable, i dont know how to use this complicated Wireshark. you are my hosting support helper, you have to test EVERYTHING and not me. i just have a problem, just monitor my website with our professional tools for the next 48 HOURS and find the problem i think is not impossible request. do it, save me because i love godaddy. but at this time i dont have any type of a professional support service.

  • I have the same problem. The first byte is taking more than 20-30 seconds.
    I’ve been trying to contact godaddy for the last 4 weeks, but they keep giving me template answers.

    My website is hannoverfashion.com . At times it runs in 5-6 seconds(and this is quickly) while at the time of writing the website was loading in 70 seconds.

    I have recorded videos showing how SLOWLY the website was loading. I have compared to other website of mine using other hosting.

    Hope my problem get solved too, because if it continue I will be forced to change webhosting.

    My problem was solved by my host moving my entire account to a different server. Everything else we tried did not work.

    I’ve had bad experiences with Godaddy also in the past. I’ve moved my own stuff off their servers and onto Rackspace. Much more reliable and with greater freedom to choose my server’s configuration, which can easily be changed to upgrade the server in only a few minutes.

    I had the same problem, GoDaddy was ridiculously slow on their shared plans.. I was getting near 100% bounce rates because people didn’t want to wait for the page to load. Also, it was killing my search engine rankings because Google really cares about speed. If you hook your site up to webmaster tools you can see the time it is taking googlebot to download KB and how that will affect how many pages it indexes. I moved my website to linode.com and now my traffic is way up and my bounce is way down.

    Hardware is so cheap, you would think they would spend some money on keeping their customers happy…

    I just ran Hanoverfashion.com and there are over 1000 domains on that ip! Wow that is just ridiculous GoDaddy..

    I have the GoDaddy deluxe hosting package now and I came here because of their advertising they are showing still top on Google results. I hosted 8 of my sites on wordpress, they were working better but just for 2 weeks. It was the time when I was using the windows deluxe hosting! I submitted the ticket and their already slow response center respond me to transfer your hosting package to linux, I moved. Websites are still slow! They told me to use some plugins like Total Cache…. blah blah.. I installed but the problem remains same. I use to submit tickets as like it is my daily duty… My sites are showing several types of errors like 500, 401, 403, 502.. at last, I am transferring my sites to Bluehost where I was before.. they were fine…. I will recommend you to don’t use GoDaddy shared hosting for wordpress multisite or even for single site…
