Godaddy 500 Server Errors with Chat Lite

    Well the issue is the frequency of the polling used by Chat. With GoDaddy with Chat or any other plugin that post more than one or two AJAX request within a second the server will automatically block the requests due to threat of hackers.

    So as a solution go to the Chat Settings and set the polling interval to something higher. Maybe 2 second.

    Thanks – where in the chat settings on the lite version is the polling interval?

    The poll interval is set on the Advanced tab. Now that I’m reviewing this I’m noticing the pol interval is not something you can adjust in the lite version. Apologies.

    Possibly. But from the plugin we can’t control what the hosting is going to object to. You can try it.
