Goal: One WordPress Instance Powers 3 Websites

  • Hello,
    I am in the planning stages for a new project and would appreciate advice on how to accomplish my goal. Here’s what I’m trying to do:

    1. Have one main wordpress install where I manage all content. All posts show up on this website. Example URL: JoeAndSally.com
    2. When posts are tagged “Joe” or “Sally”, they also show up on separate websites. Example URLs: JoeSmith.com & SallySmith.com

    #1 is just a straightforward install of wordpress. But #2 is what I don’t know how to achieve. Does anyone have any ideas? Perhaps someone has already solved this problem with a plugin or an advanced DNS setup or something. I’ve read enough about multisite to know that it’s probably not the solution.
