• I have my domain on GoDaddy and set up the name servers and the primary domain. I am unsure how to proceed with any download and store it on a server. Please forgive me as I am very novice at this. I have forwarded my domain to my wordpress site but need help getting this going. I love blogging and just talking about movies – no profit. Any help with how to grow this and get it setup would be deeply appreciated. There are a lot of options on WordPress that interest me but need help understanding them.

What is it you are wanting to download and store?

    WordPress is working?

There are a lot of options on WordPress that interest me but need help understanding them.

Dashboard > Appearance > Themes is where you can change the outer appearance or “skin” of your site, and there in that area of the Dashboard is where you can select from a variety of front-page options. After that, Dashboard > Appearance > Menus is where you can do some navigation customization, and then Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets is where you can add more to what is displayed overall.

WordPress is working fine with Go Daddy settings.

Question. how do you re size images, especially the master images> Second , do I need to download anything

how do you re size images, especially the master images

My own sites have few images, so I have very little experience in that area. However, I do know there are some size options available in the page/post editor. Beyond that, there are many different themes and plugins that have wide varieties of options for displaying images on pages, in posts, widgets and so on.

Second , do I need to download anything

Assuming you are asking in relation to images, that will be dependent upon anything you might need or want beyond the built-ins available at the Dashboard.
