Go Daddy Installation problem

    I installed wordpress and bought a theme from theme forest, (sommerce ecommerce) When I download it and try to activate it it says:
    Broken Themes
    The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.

    Name Description
    Sommerce_Premium_WordPress_Theme Stylesheet is missing.

    The file from Theme Forest is a zip file and should contain everything needed. Where is the Style sheet?

  • On your local machine, unzip the zip file you got from Themeforest and check out what’s inside: this problem usually happens when the real theme folder is packaged up with extra stuff that isn’t actually meant to be installed on WordPress. So inside your Sommerce_Premium_etc. folder, you might find a psd file, some marketing material, and so on, as well as another folder called Sommerce. The inner folder is the one you actually need to upload and activate.
