• I updated to 3.1.2 and my theme no longer works. I tested it on another site that I have not updated from 3.1.1 and it works fine. Is there a way I can retro to 3.1.1 and override 3.1.2 until the theme developer updates? Unfortunately, I updated automatically and have no saved .zip of 3.1.1. Boo, me.

  • It’d be better to figure out what is wrong with your theme and fix that. What is the problem, exactly?

It is the “shapeshifter” theme. Basically the old school “one page” site that scrolls rather than links to a separate page. The nav menu no longer “scrolls” to the next page it just sits on home content.

    Do you have a URL?

apljdi – I thank you so much for your responses. I actually had Blue Host back the db up a few days and all is as it was. i will wait for the developer to update before I update again to 3.1.2. Sincerely thank you for your help! the url is https://lecomptonalternate.com if you wanted to get an idea of what i was talking about.

It seems to work for me. I click a menu item and the central content rolls to the appropriate section.

Yeah, that is what I mean, we backed it up so it functions as it should. when I updated to 3.1.2 last night it broke the plugin so the nav menu didn’t work.

I just checked, here is the result:

    – Works fine in FF4 including all the menu buttons (i.e., home, about, and so on).

    – Works fine in IE9 EXCEPT the menu buttons. None of menu buttons display.

Sorry guys, I should clarify – The site is working as it should now, because I backed up the DB an hour ago – to before I updated to 3.1.2. So the site is running 3.1.1 and the theme works as it should. It wasn’t working, as it is now, on 3.1.2. Interesting to note the IE nav issue though, thanks for looking at it. I would mark this issue “solved” as it looks like I need to wait on a developer update before I can update to 3.1.2 (again.) I truly appreciate your help!
