    Hi,

    I am using:

    Gmail
    SMTP Host: smtp.gmail.com
    Type of Encryption: TLS
    SMTP Port: 587

But get the below error when sending a test:

SMTP ERROR: Failed to connect to server: (0)

I see from your pinned post this is something incorrect with the SMTP settings?

Also – we use a paid Gsuite, not a free Gmail service. could this be the root of the problem?

    Thanks,
    Tom

Yes this might be what is causing this issue. Can you get in contact with Gmail support regarding this issue. They might be able to share some light.

Let me know what they say.

    Thank you

    hey,

So, getting support for Google is nearby impossible. We actually had a Mailgun account setup that I wasn’t aware of. Set that up and it all worked first time!

    Thanks anyway

    Tom
