I am using CF7 and WP mail SMTP plugin to send all emails from a Gmail account. I have followed this guide step by step and sent some test emails from my website forms and everything works fine.

My question is that in the Edit Contact Form page in the Mail tab, I still see the error

    > Sender email address does not belong to the site domain.

Is this normal? As I mentioned the form works fine, it sends all emails from my Gmail account.

Hello, you should try entering the same email as the one in the “Administration Email Address” field. You need to put this email in the “From” field on the form. I believe doing so will help you resolve your issue. I hope I’ve pinpointed the error correctly.

I tried to use the same email as you advised but nothing changed. In the “From” field the error insists

I’m also experiencing some issues and was looking into it. I’ve read that Contact Form 7 might have problems with reCAPTCHA, but I’m not sure if that’s your case or mine. I hope you manage to resolve it.

I don’t use reCAPTCHA so that’s not the case for my issue. Thank you anyway, there might be someone who sees this topic and provides a bit of advice.
