    Hi,

is there a way to hide the file location of the gltf-files, that are displayed in the viewer? Currently, I can easily detect this with the developer tools of the browser and then download the file. This is a big issue, as we sell products with protected design, and a lot of that protected information is in the 3d-files. Sorry, in case I miss some obvious solution …

    Rolf

Workaround: prevent site detecting via a plugin + use filenames, that are not easy to guess … guess, that is not great, but I am not smart enough for more. Any better ideas, anyone?

    Hi Rolf,

This has been an issue for some time now for all model viewers. I believe I have worked out a solution for this and so will aim to have it included in the next version release of the plugins due in August.

If you have any further queries please let me know.

    Hi Rolf,

Send me an email to [email protected] and I will aim to send you a beta release with this new functionality in the next few days once i have finished testing it.

This feature will only be available on the premium subscriptions.

Encryption of file URL works well now, – thank you a lot for your engaged support, Nick!

Thanks Rolf. I am glad I could assist with this new functionality. The beta version you are using will be replaced with the live version in the coming weeks. It will come with a number of new big enhancements to both the plugins.
