GLT with block/FSE themes

    Hello GLT team,

    Been using GLT for a long time and a great fan of GLT ?? Now, I’m building a website based on a block theme / FSE theme, and I want to have a language switcher in the menu. On other sites, I could create menu items with the GLT shortcode in the description, but this doesn’t work anymore with block/FSE themes: The navigation block can’t have shortcodes, and the shortcode simply becomes a span tag with class ‘wp-block-navigation-item__description’ instead of being rendered into a working link. When clicking on a language in such a menu, nothing happens.

    So, how am I supposed to use GLT in a block theme menu? Thanks for your help in advance.

    P.S. Apart from the menu/navigation, shortcodes do work and can be added by using a shortcode block. The shortcode block is NOT available when editing the menu in the block editor.

    Currently we do not have an option to show it in block navigation menu.
