I was able to create the glossary with custom post type.

In my case I created custom post type glossary_items and taxonomy glossary.

I added the code to display the glossary navigation A B C D E — Z to archive-glossary_items.php, single-glossary_items.php and taxonomy-glossary.php so that the navigation does not go away when someone clicks on a letter and lands on the taxonomy archive page or someone clicks on a glossary term.

I am just not sure how to display all the glossary items in one page. If I use the glossary landing page as my glossary_items archive page https://www.glossary.test/glossary_items/ [which is my custom post type] when i click on a letter my page URL changes to https://www.glossary.test/glossary/. What’s the best way to list all the glossary items in one page?
