” global.msads.net ” ?? WP tried to connect to this?

    Hi, I was recently publishing draft of a post for my blog when I noticed in the lower corner of Firefox that it seems WP was waiting for “global.msads.net” for something.
    I did a google search and it seems this is some type of search engine or lising? Anyone know?

    I have a pretty basic WP install with just a few plugins (counterize, randomize, etc.)

    Maybe I’m imagining things? Incidentally I did just switch URL’s –not hosts however.

    I use Firefox with some “improved” status bar extension, it seems to have a propensity to get confused about where it is and what it’s doing exactly.

    Could it be a site in your ping list maybe?
