Globally turn off Share Button – GDPR

you can check the shortcode params or if you used customizer then check customizer setting to enable/disable share button.

technically share button is just a way to allow copy the public url of user’s bookmark’s list, if user bookmarks anything in public category then those will be shown to others , otherwise all are private.

I don’t really understand what you mean. I am talking especially about the Share-Button on the Page that was created automatically to display a list of bookmarks and categories: https://cotedazur-unlimited.eu/deine-favoriten/
I can’t at all make any changes here (which I really would like to because the page looks awful!) So I can’t disable the share button here either.

Can you please tell me how to disable the share button globally?

if customer then check customer my bookmark setting has option to disable or enable share button

I have not created the My Favorites page nor can I customize it. I assume your plugin created the page automatically during installation. I can’t adjust anything, nor even make the page any prettier, or at least insert a paragraph, because it’s completely blank in the wordpress editor.

Our plugin creates a page for displaying ‘my bookmarks’ automatic it’s true. but still you can create as you need and set that page from plugin’s setting.

2nd, how the content shows in the mybookmarks page depends on plugin’s setting. You can set customizer method or shortcode method. if you have customizer method you page’s content will not show anything, if you use shortcode method then you need to put shortcodes.

If you disable auto integration from plugin’s setting then globally it will be turn off, then you can manually add using shortcode or shortcode in theme directly as needed.
