Is there a way to globally disable the “Send PushEngage Notification on Update” checkbox by default?

Most of the writers on our site are non-technical, and I frequently need to update a post or page to fix formatting or other small errors. I’d like the sending of a notification to occur only on PUBLISH of the initial post — not every time I update it. Is this possible with a filter or hook? Or can it be added as an option?

    Thanks,
    Erik

Yes, we have the in the settings. If you disable the Automatic Push Notifications in Settings this will not show by default.

This is the name of the setting
    Auto Push
Automatically send a push notification to your subscribers every time you publish a new post.

No, that’s not what I want. I want the notification to go automatically on PUBLISH, but NOT go on UPDATE.
