Globally Configure for Multisite

that wasnt it.

ok, something really weird going on… so.. i simply waited a few minutes, lo-and-behold it works in the subsites now. waited another few minutes back to being broken… rinse and repeat… same… not configured, wait a few, configured… wait another few, back to not configured

wow … that kind of sounds like this might be an (object) caching issue? do you have redis or memcached active?

I was thinking that too… but nah, both are disabled…
then I thought admin ajax… but… that too is a no-go

and what other plugins (if any) are active? does the same happen if all but AO are deactivated?

yeah, i gotta dig deeper… I have the on/off thing figured out, but now there’s something else causing it to not work…

when I was on my network settings page for it, it was working, when I switched over to the subsite, it stopped…

just AO, and Mine are active

that is so weird. so, I just tried simply browsing admin. once i get back to network admin… any page. the subsites go back to working again. as soon as I get into one of the subsites admin areas, it stops

note… i have this running on the init action

i wonder if it has to do with my options getting saved. I am saving the options from the network settings page seperate from AO’s settings. maybe when the subsites are looking to configure, it is not grabbing these, and configuring the plugin for itself based on a blank object…

That was exactly it. I was storing and getting my options from a single site, rather than network… i had to sift through my code and change just that to update/get network_option. (i think earlier, I was setting/getting everything from network_option, when I stated that didnt work)
