global $wp_admin_bar coming up null

    I am getting the following message when enabling “extend Backend Admin Bar with a language quick selector.”

    Fatal error: Call to a member function add_menu() on a non-object in /home/otffeo/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-native-dashboard/langswitcher.php on line 28

    It works fine on localhost, but when I put it up to staging, things went sour.

    Code is identical on both sites, database is identical (just synched both at EoD yesterday).
