Global variations not working

    Hi

    I have a client who had his site created a long time ago, and they’ve always used this plug in, with global variations. Basically he makes paintings and uses the global variations to showcase the paintings with his wood frames which he also makes. For some reason it has stopped working now which is very frustrating.

    Hello,

    That is probably because you are running the free version. If you have a purchased version try to sync the license under WooCommerce > SVI > Account.

    Check the status.

    But still doesn’t explain why all the options went back to default. But never the less, could you tell me how to layer a global variation on top of the product?

    So one picture (the variation) is slightly bigger than the product picture, and when they get layered it just sits on top of it and frames it.

    Hello,

    I dont know what level you are at in SVI but if you have a paid version and for some reason you jump to the free version the global attribute is lost in the free version (not deleted unless you save over it).

    SVI doesnt manipulate Images it works with the sizes available/registered in your instalation.
    You may choose a size under WooCommerce > SVI > Global – Images from the available in your system.

    Yea I think it returned to the free version and when we upgraded to the expert version again we lost everything.

    Right now when you choose a variation they show at the side, I want them to overlay the product picture:

    Also, they all show at once, which is also really weird. It’s just such a hassle needing to redo so much work because this plug in for some reason forgets everything when you don’t pay exactly when your subscription expires.

    That is because you choose the option to display the variation images under the Variations.

    I’m not familiar with this plugin, where would I change the position of the photos? Is it a preset, or an absolute position?

    Hi,

    The position is changed in the SVI galleries.
