    I set the “Global Site Access” setting to “Site Accessible to Logged In Users” but this doesn’t force a user to the login or register when going to content on the site. What is this setting supposed to do?

    I figured it out. I thought “front-end” meant my entire WordPress site, but it means just the pages assigned under Main -> Pages.

    Is it possible to add other pages to protect?

    We will add new feature for you – to protect all pages of the site. It will be done in next version of Membership plugin. We will inform you about the updates.
