    Hi,

Wondering if there is a way to make settings global for my WordPress Network. I mean like setting SI CAPTCHA Anti-Spam on my Network admin page for all the sites I host.

    Regards
    Ansd

  • Hi I never tested this plugin in a multisite installation. Did you try the above yourself? I am curious to know if it works or not.

Yes I’ve installed on my WordPress Network and it’s working OK. However, each individual site can change their own settings e.g. disable captcha.

The only way I was able to do some sort of global setting is to change the default settings before activating the plugin, then remove the menu handler from code manually. But thats just a workaround and I don’t think it’s practical e.g. when updating plugin.

Thank you for providing more information. The plugin developer will investigate further your question/findings.

    Regards

Soon I am making a complete rewrite 3.0 version of the code. It will have this feature.

I have also completed a Fast Secure reCAPTCHA plugin with this feature, it is a fresh new plugin waiting approval at WordPress plugins. I will reply here again when it is ready, maybe you want to use it instead.

You should uninstall this plugin first.
    How to install Network Activate.

Install from main site admin network menu then click Network Activate.

Now go to the Main site dashboard and click on settings for this new plugin.
All the settings here will be applied to all the sites. Other site admin cannot see or change the settings
