    Hi,

We use AISEO on many websites and during development we set the global “noindex” in the standard WordPress settings – this usually works fine and indeed AISEO picks this up and warns in admin.

However, when we view the code. the noindex tag is not showing. We also tried using the option in the AISEO settings to do this (search appearance section) and still no success.

We can get the standard noindex working but only when we disable AISEO.

As a workaround we are using the webmaster tools verification field to manually input the required tag.

To summarise, AISEO is not allowing the noindex tag, either switched on via the normal WordPress admin or via the AISEO options.

We are using WP version 5.8 and the latest version of AISEO as at 10/8/21. The sites are built using Oxygen builder.

    Thanks

@sponwp Would you mind sharing the URL of your site so that we can take a look?
Can you please check if you are facing this on all the pages or only the homepage of your site?

Hi there, thanks for looking at this.

Can we share the URL outside of a public forum please? They are client websites under development. Please let me know how.

We are seeing this on all public facing pages.

    Thank you.
