Global Font Not Working

I changed my global fonts to times new roman in both elementor and theme ( generatepress). Few days back i changed my font to monteserrat however the font is not changing now. In preview decorations such as underlining, uppercase and etc. work however changing font and font size does not create any impact. i am referring to body text and headings (1-6). Please someone help me sort this issue. Real issue is with the classic editor. In elementor I go to text editors’ style then I select typography and in typography i use the pre-defined global font. However there is no such option in classic either. Plese help me in either making my global font work defaultly or add a option in classic editor to customise the font.
