Global discount not applied for guest users

We have set up discounts for some products using the “Global Discount” feature.
It seems that discount applies only for logged in users.
Guest users still see the regular prices and “Sale” icon does not appear.
Please help.BTW, this is your ticket-#2792. Your support hasn’t replied for a few weeks. I thought I might get a resolution faster here.
