Global discount – Category

    Hi, I just wanted to know that if I set up a global discount on a category, the child categories are not affected.

    For example, if I have the categories

    –Parent (Product 1)
    — Child (Product 1 and Product 2)

    And apply a discount to the Parent category, the products that are only associated with child categories will not get the discount. In this case, only Product 1 will get discount.

    Is this the way the plugin works?

    Hi @xbaeza,

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    The discount will be applied only to the selected categories in the “included categories” option.

    For example:

    • Clothing (Parent category)
      • T-shirts (Child category)

    If you select “Clothing” in the included categories option, the discount will be applied only to “Clothing.” You need to select the child categories as well to apply the discount.
