    • Version:?8.6.03.005 creates a glitch with redirects to an anchored area on a page where the anchored section only briefly appears and then it reverts to showing the full page from the top. Any attempt to link to an anchored area within a page only goes to the anchor for a few seconds and the reverts to the top of the page
    • I rolled the wppa plugin back (2 versions just in case) and the anchors work fine again
    • Could you look into this please as I cannot update to the newest version of WPPA until this issue is fixed

I do not know if i understand well what you mean, but probably it is an ajax issue.

What yo can do is: look at Advanced settings -> System -> I -> Item 5: Ajax method.
If it is set to normal set it to Frontend and Backend: Backend method, vice versa, and verify that it still works in your currently installed version.

If so, try the update again.

If no luck, i need to see it myself, or at least give me a more detailed description of what is happening

I apparently had the same problem. The editor page for articles would keep reloading, making the page go blank again, I had to roll back until version 8.6.02.003 for the problem to go away.

    Pls give some more info:

Does this only happen on the edit page/post screen?

Do you use block editors or clkassic?
If classic, what plugin(s) do you use?
If ‘disable gutenberg’, this has a fatal error that they do not want to fix
( there are situations where they call a function while the file that contains the function is not loaded ); use ‘calssic editor’ and ‘classic widgets’ in stead.

If none of the above apply, give me a list of all active plugins, so i can try to reproduce and possbly fix it.

It happened only on the edit page/post screen.

It was still doing it when only these three plugins were enabled: WPForms Lite, WPFront Scroll Top and Yoast SEO.

I didn’t try without them enabled. My guess is that it would still be doing it without any plugin active.

Should be fixed in the current release version 8.6.04.007

Jacob – the problem still occurs in versions AFTER version 8.6.03.005
I have left the most recent version installed so you can see what it is doing
If you click any of the menu buttons on the page
    https://www.tomoffinland.org/a-i-r/
it correctly goes to the anchor desired BUT after a few seconds it reloads the page from the top
This makes the majority of the info on the page very hard too read and navigate

Please let me know when you have read this and seen the problem as I need to roll the plugin back to the working version until this is fixed

I do not see what you decribe, however, i see that the menu and its content shows up multiple times, every instance with the next menuitem opended. That looks strange.
What theme and what other plugins do you use? maybe i can reproduce it on my dev site.

You can now rollback the plugin
