    Hi there;
I want to add an image to my Oceanwp sidebar by using classic widgets plugin BUT when I add an “image” to my sidebar by using the “classic widgets” plugin the size of the image is shrinking. It is not showing proper size.

To overcome this problem, I use Block Widgets but this time “image” widget of Legacy Widgets is not appearing in the list of “Legacy Widgets” section of Block Widgets. (you can check yourself, just get into the Block Widgets and choose “legacy widgets” and you will not see the “image” option in the list of Legacy widgets). It does not exist somehow. But when you download classic widgets; you will able to see the “image” widget again.

So to add an image to my sidebar, this time I start using the “image” block of Block Widgets BUT this time Oceanwp’s “Widget Title” is not showing on my sidebar. (I cannot able to see the ocean wp widget title over the top of my image when I use the “image” block in my sidebar)

This is really frustrating. I don’t understand why the oceanwp’s legacy widget of “image widget” is not working as it used to. Why it is shrinking the image.

    regards,

    Additional Problems Found:
I added some text by adding a “text” widget using the “classic widgets” plugin BUT I notice that the “text” widget is not appearing on the site after I log out. It is not appearing at “incognito mode” either.

I added “Mailpoet” and “Recent Posts” by using the “classic widgets” plugin too and they are appearing on the site well even after I log out. These two widgets are also appearing at incognito mode too.

BUT Both “image” and “text” widgets of “classic widgets” are not appearing after I log out of the site and in incognito mode. I can only able to see when I am log in to my site.

why this weird problem is happening? I tried deactivate the all plugins and but no joy. same glitch happening.

I took screenshot recording, here are the links.

    All Plugins are “ON” screenshot:

    Edit:
This problem is happening when I check my site from the “desktop”. When I check my website from my mobile (cellphone), this problem is not occurring. I can easily see the “image” and “text” widgets and the content in them; they are properly appearing on my site.

But when I check from my desktop (chrome, firefox, ios, and edge browsers), the “image” and “text” classic widgets and the content in them are not appearing on my site.

If you check my site both from your mobile and your desktop (https://furniched.com), you can see the problem your self too.

    Hello @brs76,

Along with the OceanWP theme, you will have access to all the default WordPress widgets. If you cannot see one of the old widgets, a plugin on your site may affect them. You should disable all plugins and enable them one by one to see which one is causing this problem.
    https://postimg.cc/DSFQkSSL
    https://postimg.cc/fSVsbWkv

Also, all your attached files have access restrictions. Please set public access to them.

I just checked your URL and didn’t see any issue on my end:
    https://postimg.cc/tnFj6St1.

In the meantime, perform a basic troubleshooting checkup method and make sure the issue is related to our theme or plugin(s). To do this, deactivate all other plugins, then activate them one by one and check for this issue. Continue doing this until you find out what product is causing a conflict with our product. Then provide the details as explained above.

Please note that if you have any cache plugin or server cache(CDN / Browser Cache and Cookies and …), you need to clear its cache contents or disable them to see your changes.

Dear Shahin; sorry for the shared file restrictions. I just removed the restrictions. Here are the links again:

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FC2nh_TZ0gzzw-uaE84wQFX62WtJqUZA/view?usp=sharing

I cleared the cache, then deactivated all plugins but still same, the “image” and “text” classic widgets are not reflecting to the live site. when I log in I can able to see “text” and “image” classic widgets are at the sidebar, but when I check incognito mode they are not exist at the sidebar.

Shahin I cannot able to see “text” and “image” classic widgets at the sidebar when I check from Desktop. BUT they are appear at the mobile. If you check from your mobile you can see the “text” and “image” widgets are there and working but If you check from your desktop, you will not see these two widgets at the side bar. Check your self please.

    regards,

    Hello @brs76,

I fully examined the issue you have raised on this topic and could not see it on my end. Please explain to us step by step how we can reproduce the issue so we can recreate it somewhere other than your website.

Can you confirm that the LiteSpeed cache plugin has been completely cleared? As it is a powerful caching tool with settings that may be controlled by the host, so please ask your host provider to disable it for temporarily or purge its cache.

Dear Shahin; I just notice that this problem (the “image” and “text” widgets not appearing on my sidebar at the Desktop) only occurs at “Post Archive” page.

When I click and get in any post, I can able to see the “text” (3rd sidebar widget) and “image” (4th sidebar widget) at my sidebar. I record the screen.

    The video link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UmKFYZuZWcWgQe61agRhc7rHUks8IvqL/view?usp=sharing

When you watch the video you will notice that; (please use dektop – because this only occurs at desktop for somehow)

    1. When you get to my site the first opening page is Post Archive page and this page has 4 widgets at the sidebar (the last 2 is not appearing – this is the problem “text” and “image” widgets are not showing for somehow). First two widgets are Mailpoet subscription and second one Recent Posts.

Now when you click any post; now you will able to see those 4 sidebar widgets. You will see in the video

    1. The other weird glitch is the footer share icons looks. When you first get in the site the footer shared icons are without any frames and when you click to any post and check footer the shared icons are with the frames. You will this also in the video.

Please you check from your dektop computer. Because at Mobile none of the above problems are occuring.

    best regards.

Shahin more weird thing I just found out is this problem only occurs at the “First Page” of my site’s landing page which is the Post Archive Page.

When I click no:2 pagination on Post Archive Page, I can able to see the 3rd and 4th sidebar widgets appearing. But then when I click the no:1 pagination, these 3rd and 4th sidebar widgets are disappearing to seem again.

And the social share icons are also changing too between going from page 1 to 2. Please check.

You can check yourself too. Again from your desktop, please. This is only happing at Desktop.

    Hello @brs76,

According to the issue you’ve raised on this topic, did you contact your host provider? What was the result?

I can still see LiteSpeed is enabled on your site: https://postimg.cc/nXJwrVfB.

Did you try to replicate the issue on a fresh WP?
How can we replicate your steps to arrive at the issue on a fresh WordPress installation?

    Best Regards

The serverside clearing cache has worked like charm.

    You’re most welcome.
    I’m glad it is resolved.
