  • Gotcha on the copies.

I am a dork and still use Dreamweaver to access my files on the server…I did View, Show Hidden Files, but I am still not seeing it. Do you think that is a Dreamweaver thing or a GoDaddy thing?

I downloaded FileZilla and forced showing hidden files and it still isn’t appearing…:(

I don’t understand how I was able to do ths with another site a few weeks ago with no problem and am so stuck on this…haha

Did the process change with 2.7?

Nah, that part didn’t change. You may just not have an .htaccess. Go ahead and make one.

If I haven’t changed my Permalinks structure from the default, would I even have an htaccess file?

    I was just reading here:

and I see that it says “there is no .htaccess file unless I’ve created one or changed my Permalinks?”

Yeah, that would be correct. No changes to PermaLinks, no .htaccess. So if you’re not changing them now, skip that bit for now ??

I got it! Everything is now appearing where I want it!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Happy New Year!!
