    Hi there,

I have a webshop and I would like to add a user that can is editor, shop manager and iDeal manager at the same time. If I just make him a Shop Manager he can’t change any SEO settings and he can’t have insight in the iDeal payment (these two are plugins btw…). At the other hand, if I make him a editor, he can’t do anything at the shop or iDeal. And so on.

Is it possible to give double functions OR can I give him access to plugins (like the WooCommerce plugin, iDeal plugin, SEO plugin)?

    Many thanks in advance,

    Jeroen

    Hi Jeroen!

If you want the new user to “do it all” with no restrictions, then the easiest thing is to simply make that person an Administrator level user on the site.

If you need to have some limits on this person’s role, then you might indeed run into issues with some plugins. I have used the plugin “User Role Manager” to grant some capabilities beyond the default user roles, and some plugins do have specific capabilities to check off for this — but many don’t.

I’m sorry, I’m not familiar enough with the plugins you are dealing with to offer more specific advice.

Hey thanks for your reply. I just purchased White Label Branding and this plugin makes it easy to customize the areas. It also allows to change Admin functions etc. I’m going to test it out and let you know ??
