Giving sign-ups a group?

    I got a sidebar opt-in option that works brilliantly. I do however need to give all my subscribers a certain group tag within the list they’re joining.

    The only option in the plugin is to let the subscriber chose a group which in my case doesn’t do it, as they shouldn’t be able to choose for themselves but be added to a certain group depending on the sign-up form they use.

    Is it possible to add a certain group to all sign-ups through this plugin?

    Thanks for dropping a line. Unfortunately, there’s no way currently to enable a hidden group to be used for the plugin’s form submission. I’ll be passing along some internal feedback about that request and eventual possibility to our developers. Thanks for the great suggestion.

    In the mean time, utilizing the embedded signup form on your site and following the steps found here over – Assign Subscribers to Preselected Groups: https://eepurl.com/b2Q-z5 – would allow you to add a specific form’s subscribers to a group. That can be set up on a per form basis to allow specific groups to be passed back to the list through each signup form.
