giving access level per post

I’ve been looking in the forums but I’m not even sure what exactly I’m looking for, so maybe you can help.

I want to create another personal blog. Since it can get very personal, I want to block certain posts from certain people. The idea I have is as follows:

Before reading the blog, each user have to register, and get a password and a user name. These will later be used for the level of access the user has.

When authoring the posts, I want to issue levels of access per group. For example, one post can be viewed by group I, II, and III. A second post can only be Viewed by group I. each group has a certain number of users.

I might want to go even “crazier” and allow or disallow certain users direct access, so for example, access level group I *except* [email protected] or level group II *plus* mom and dad.

Any plugins out there? Ideas?
