    Hello!!

I tried integrating the donor’s dashboard to my website but the dashboard isn’t working at all the interface of the dashboard visibly keeps on loading.

However, I was able to integrate the donation history and subscription history through the available shortcodes separately on another page.

But the shortcode for the donor’s dashboard isn’t working well for us.

Please help us know what’s wrong with the dashboard so we can fix it up.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @shravanbhavyata,

In certain caching setups, GiveWP cookies are being excluded and the donor dashboard itself is being cached, which is causing the problem, and even extending the problem to all WordPress users on the site.

In the meantime, reach out to your host to ensure that give cookies are allowed, and that page caching is disabled for example.com/?give-embed=donor-dashboard#/ (replace example.com with your full home URL).

Another option is to disable the Donor Dashboard page altogether in Donations -> Settings -> General, disable Override Legacy Donation Management Pages.
Then make sure the Donation History page is NOT set to the Donor Dashboard page, create another page with the [give_receipt] shortcode in it.

Use the [give_subscriptions] shortcode on a page. Set that page as the Subscriptions Page in Donations -> Settings -> General:

    Hi @shravanbhavyata,

Just following up. Do you still need help here?

    Hello!!

I Tried the second option by disabling the Donor Dashboard Page and used the available shortcodes for donation receipts and subscriptions. It’s working fine; But again there exists a minor problem as there is no option available for the donor to edit profile add their information and even upload their picture. How can they edit profiles with the main donors dashboard being disabled?

    Hi @shravanbhavyata,

It’s not possible for a donor to update their profile unless you use the donor dashboard. The workaround is for you to update their profile for them but that’s not going to be a long-term solution. I suggest you try to exclude the donor dashboard link from any and all cache: example.com/?give-embed=donor-dashboard#

    Hello!!

I even tried excluding the URL as you suggested to do me. Even excluded the test page for the donor dashboard. But still, the problem remains the same. The dashboard is not functioning as it is meant to be. It just keeps on loading the interface.

    Please help!!

You can view the setting that I’ve done for excluding the cache from the server-side using the SG Optimizer in the link below.

    Hi,

The donor dashboard iframe page is crashing for some reason: https://bhavyata.com/?give-embed=donor-dashboard

Can you check the server error logs for any recent “fatal errors” and post them in your next reply?

    Thanks!

    Hello!!

I checked the error logs on the server side. But there happens to be no error/warning related to the give plugin or add-ons at all.

    Hey @shravanbhavyata,

It looks like your caching settings are not playing well with GiveWP. Putting me in your shoes, I’d deactivate any caching that you have to see if it works.

If it doesn’t work, in this case, I suggest you follow our troubleshooting tutorials using Health Check. It allows you to isolate plugins and change themes for administrator, while the frontend still runs the live version of the website. You can see the documentation here:
    https://givewp.com/documentation/resources/troubleshoot-wordpress-websites-health-check/

Thanks for using GiveWP! Have a great day.
