Hi @pierrehansen,
Thank you for contacting WooCommerce support. This error message usually occurs when there is a mismatch between the site URL registered with Jetpack and the actual site URL. Jetpack is a required dependency for WooCommerce Payments, so even if you don’t have it installed, it is used behind the scenes to connect your site to the WooCommerce services.
To troubleshoot this issue, please follow these steps:
- Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > WooPayments and check the option Enable WooPayments and Save the settings at the bottom of the screen. This will disconnect your site from the WooCommerce services.
- Go to Plugins > Add New and search for Jetpack. Install and activate the plugin.
- Go to Jetpack > Dashboard and click on the Set up Jetpack button. Follow the instructions to connect your site to your WordPress.com account. If you don’t have one, you can create one for free.
- Go back to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > WooPayments and Connect. Follow the instructions to connect your site to the WooCommerce Payments service.
- Test the plugin by creating a test order and checking out with a test card number.
If you still see the error message after following these steps, please send us a screenshot of the error message and a copy of your system status report. You can find the system status report by going to WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support. You can use a service like https://gist.github.com/ to share the link with us.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to resolve this issue.
