We have implemented the Give plugin and connected to PayPal Standard. Donations are going through PayPal fine, but when they are returned to the site from PayPayl we are getting the following error even through the PayPal Payment Type is set to Donation and the organization’s PayPal account is certified as non-prof. We cannot determine why this is happening. Any help would be greatly appreciated:

Notice: The give_payment_confirm_paypal filter is deprecated since Give version 1.7! Use give_donation_confirm_paypal instead. in /path-to-the-plugin/includes/misc-functions.php on line 537

Hi @squidz – which version of Give are you using?

Matt/Devin, while trying to work through this, a plugin update alert popped up. The version downloaded just a few days ago was 1.7.2 I believe. But the update jumped to 1.8.1. It seems that either that update or upgrading PHP and SOAP on the server did the trick. Thanks for the rapid response guys!
