I see that this issue has come up before. Like the others, I was prompted to run the DB update, so I did. Nothing appeared to be happening (stuck at 0%) but apparently something was because it trashed my database. I had to reinstall db from backup. Other messages say Give Version 2.0.2 addresses and fixes this issue but, for me, this is not the case.

@astreetweb @dedlobster Sorry to hear about the issues you are having with the upgrade routines. Where are you guys hosting at? As well, do you have the Recurring Donations add-on installed alongside Give Core? If so, which version?

@astreetweb – W3TC can potentially be having issues with our upgrade process. Have you tried deactivating that and running the upgrade? If that doesn’t help can you contact us and make a mention that you’re working with me on WP.org? We can work out the issue together outside this public forum: https://givewp.com/contact-us/ select “You asked me to contact you” option.

I have a WordPress multisite instance and the DB Upgrade process kept saying that admin-ajax wasn’t working, which was not true because I could test is manually. I did the whole bypass admin-ajax check and now it’s stuck at 0% and isn’t updating. I activated on one of the other sites on the install and was prompted with the same update database notice. When I attempt to run the updater on the other site I get a notice that I’m not authorized, which doesn’t make any sense given that I’m logged into the additional site with an admin account. I’m basically at the point where I think I have to go to the database itself and manually delete everything. Even the Setting that says to delete everything when the plugin is disabled doesn’t work.

I’m hosted on SiteGround and I have not caching plugins even active at this point. I was using SiteGround’s optimization plugin but I found out recently that it isn’t even compatible with WordPress multisite.

I believe we resolved this in a different thread. Closing for now, but feel free to comment again if there’s still unfinished business. Thanks!
